Ok can I start by saying a huge THANK YOU to the owners and/or cooks at this diner?!? There is an entire separate vegan menu with about 15 dishes to choose from. And they aren't crappy choices. They have alternative meats, cheeses, and more. They even make their own fillings that include sweet potatoes and spices and other good stuff. They clearly care because my dish came out and looked divine. For being a diner and having cheaper prices, I was blown away by the presentation and quality of food. The outside area is a tad sketchy. It has bars on the windows, which I don't blame them for at all, but it can be confusing when you are looking for the place. It also looked like the lights were off until I walked inside. Trust your map and the sign on the door lol! There wasn't a sign inside saying to wait for seating, so I sat myself and it didn't seem like a problem. There is the main entrance with tables and couches, then a little farther back is a diner bar seating arrangement with even more tables. Near this walkway leading to the bar area is a small table with silverware rolls and the menus - be sure to grab these yourself! If you want water, there is a self serve water station on

I had never been here before but it's Monday morning and I was in desperate need of a breakfast burrito. Got one delivered (beef and chorizo) and it may be the best breakfast I've ever eaten, 12/10. Plus it was huge. Also got a dobladas to try - very good, definitely recommend. Excited to go in store some time and try the rest!

Came in here for the first time today FINALLY! After passing it for weeks.. I came in with my friend Ben & he suggested I get the crunchy papi. WOW! 10/10, compliments to the chef! Oh my gosh this place is amazing. Thank you!! It’s too late for me to add photos as I have finished my meal, but everything looked magazine worthy!

Lowrider Cafe is my husband's and my favorite place to get authentic Mexican street tacos and other absolutely delicious Mexican food. Chill, relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff. I have loved everything I've ordered there. One of my favs is the crunchy papi. I normally order 2 or 3 tacos and crunchy papi is always one of them. We also love their fresh made tortilla chips and guac. It's our favorite lunch date spot and we often pop in to the library across the street to get a book afterwards.

Burger was very small for 12 (14$ with tip no fries or drink so just the burger for 14$) and called "avalanche". It was good but no bigger than a $5 hamburger somewhere else. There was nothing "avalanche" about it, My first time trying this place so I was a little disappointed but I gave it a few Stars since it did taste okay.
